Photography isn't easy. You need to get up before the sun, hike to your location, get everything set up and pray you get the shot. You can get discouraged easily. What really makes it worth it is moments like these. I kid you not, this was how the sky looked at sunrise in Long Island New York one morning. I was tired, cold, and horribly ill-equipped to take these shots but, it was all worth it in the end.
